Hunt Planner Review
As a new subscriber I wanted to write a review since I didn't see any. I've used a couple other map tools, including some free ones. Frankly this is head and shoulders above any other tool I've used - it was written for me.
The data for the public land boundaries and deer concentrations seems dead on! I like how smooth it scrolls and zooms. It is great to be able to change the colors of all the layers so I know what is what. Other tools I've used overlay all kinds of stuff... except it's really slow to refresh, and hard to use so it's not even worth the frustration to me. Plus I can never find what I'm looking for in all those useless layers, but with this it has exactly the data I want.
Only thing I noticed, and it's mostly my fault, is that if you right click it sometimes gets in a funky state where the mouse wheel won't work and I can't fix it without reloading. This is probably just caused by my bad habit of right clicking all over the place for no good reason. Other than that it is quite slick.
I'm planning a hunt for the end of this year. As the year goes on I'm going to save a bunch of maps in the planner - I'll update this review as I learn more.

I checked it out and it looks pretty good. I looked specifically at the area / place I hunt. The roads your map show are the most accurate representation that I've seen. Other maps show roads that have not been open for years.
I really like how you can toggle views back and forth really easy. Not sure where you are pulling the satalite images but they look better then what I'm getting with Google Earth using the free version.
I think your product would be fantastic for the out of state hunter or any hunter that is researching a new area. It covers the basics for roads, elk and deer consentrations, and arial images all very easy to use and from one window.
While looking at one ridge where I knew the boundry for my unit ran, I could see using your map that I walked about 200 - 300 yards out of my unit and into a different unit. It is our responsibility to know where we are at all times and your map is the first one I've seen to over lay the GMU's on a arieal photo with that type precision that you can really tell exactly where the boundry is.
Personally I think you got a good product and should do well with it. I would pay a one time price for something like your map but not a monthly fee. Most people won't be using it monthly. That's just my 2 cents and opinion.

Quick reply to Mitch
The monthly fee is because the data is frequently updated. Your maps are always at their most up to date, which takes quite a bit of effort on our part.
If you only want to pay a one time fee - just buy one month's worth! $5.95 to print as many maps as you want for a month. How's that for a deal?
