Frequent Questions

What scale are your large format printed maps?

Our printed maps are 1:100,000 scale. That means 5/8" on the map equals 1 mile on the ground. You can find many more details of our printed hunting maps on the Map Details page.

I've purchased a Hunt Planner subscription, now what?

Wonderful - You are on your way to having the perfect map for you. You can access the hunt planner by clicking the link that says "Hunt Planner" in the menu to the left. It is under your user name and directly below "My account". If you aren't seeing the link and you've purchased the hunt planner try logging out, then back in again. Why don't you make a paper map for my area?

We built our maps around the 40 most popular Big Game Hunting Units. Due to our large format paper size we are able to put 75 units on 16 different maps. We apologize that your favorite hunting area isn't included. That said... now we do! With our new Hunt Planner you can print any area you would like.

How long does it take to get a large format printed hunting map?

Our maps are shipped out at 4PM each day. Any order received after that will ship the following day. All of our paper maps are shipped via USPS (First Class). We've found that it typically takes three (3) to four (4) days for delivery. If you need your map fast - we will ship overnight. Overnight shipping is an additional $30. If you need a map now, or any other time day or night, use our Hunt Planner.

Does your map show game trails?

Sadly our maps do not contain game trails. We have yet to find a reliable or accurate source for collecting game trail data. We do offer game concentration areas in our new Hunt Planner tool. This shows you where the largest numbers of your favorite game are typically found. Our maps can be thought of like a personal journal. Use a pencil and jot down where you were, what you saw, and what you did. When you return from your hunt - just make a note in the Hunt Planner. Oh and don't worry - all of your secret hunting spots are visible only to you.
